Susan Bögels (psychotherapist) is professor in Developmental Psychopathology at the University of Amsterdam, director of the Academic treatment Centre for Parent and Child, UvA minds and director of the Academic training Centre, UvA minds You.
Her main research area is the intergenerational transmission of anxiety from parents to children. She also studies the prevention and treatment of child anxiety disorders through child- and family-focused interventions. Applying mindfulness as an intervention in the family context is another area of interest.
